HISTORY

In 2012(eg) at a fugitives conference attended by 24 national fugitive teams of the European Union, a motion was put forward to create a European network of national fugitive teams, named ENFAST. This motion was adopted by the European Council on 1st of January 2013. The Belgian FAST took on the first Presidency for a two-year period (2013-2014). The German FAST is currently continuing the project under its Presidency for another two years (2015-2016) after which the Dutch FAST will take over the Presidency (2017-2018), ensuring the continuity of the project.
